Perimenopause and Menopause Meet Ups
Group support to talk with each other about the physical, mental and emotional sides of perimenopause and menopause
Whether you're moving toward or crossing over the threshold into perimenopause or menopause, connecting with others on the same journey is a lifeline. We know that this time in life can be overwhelming because it's right alongside so many other major events in our lives, so we've made it our goal to create spaces where we can find community and support each other.
These pop-up groups are a welcoming, non-clinical, non-medical space for those walking through this time in life to talk openly about what they're experiencing and how it is impacting their lives.
Each pop-up group will be a little different, but all will offer the opportunity to ask questions, share, offer and receive support and connection with others who are in a similar season of life.
Please join our Facebook group, BBC's Menopause & Perimenopause Society to find our upcoming events or email us at info@bbcroc.com to learn more.
To attend this group, we kindly ask for your financial support of $3 per meeting. You can pay using the button below or with cash or credit/debit card at the studio when you arrive.
Your contributions truly help us keep our support groups going strong, thank you so much for helping us support our community. Contributions are greatly appreciated but not required. No one will be turned away due to lack of funds.

Julia Sittig, Founder, Co-Owner, MSW, Advanced Birth Doula, Doula Trainer, AdvCD/BDT(DONA), Educator, LCCE, SpBCPE, Active Certified Body Ready Method Pro
Julia’s goal as a doula is to offer continuous support for birthing persons and their families throughout pregnancy and birth through prenatal discussions and birth planning, assisting with comfort measures and positions during labor, and providing emotional support and immediate postpartum guidance. In her role as a childbirth educator, Julia seeks to bring a wealth of research based information to the table. Her passion is educating parents about their choices in pregnancy and birth, in order to help guide them through the best possible healthy birth scenario and a wonderful birthing experience as they define it. There are few joys quite like walking with a family through this time in their lives.
At BBC, Julia is a Childbirth Educator, Birth Doula Trainer and is currently accepting birth doula clients on a limited basis.
Christy Muscato, Founder, Co-Owner, Birth and Postpartum Doula, Doula Trainer, CD/BDT(DONA), Educator, LCCE, SpBCPE, Active Certified Body Ready Method Pro

Christy is a lover of many things including music, books, art, her amazing kids and has sometimes been known to series binge on Netflix. She has lived in many states and many homes. This gives her an understanding of being away from family and close friends during life-changing events like the birth of your child. She has been honored to be invited into a variety of births and to provide support. Some have included VBACs, high-risk, single parent, twins, c-sections, even a vaginal breech delivery! She has supported many natural and medicated births as well as hospital and homebirths. After an “emergency” c-section for her 1st daughter, she knew there was more to birth. She looked and was amazed at what she found. Doulas, Lamaze, amazing networks of supportive women. Her tribe. Her second daughter was a beautiful VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean) supported by her amazing doula.
Christy is a Certified Birth Doula with DONA® International (2006), a Lamaze® Certified Childbirth Educator (2006), an Approved Birth Doula Trainer with DONA International (2016), a Postpartum Doula and has trained with Postpartum Support International, a wonderful resource for families dealing with postpartum mood disorders.
