VBAC and Cesarean Support Groups

We offer two support groups for people who have had a cesarean:

Healing After Cesarean

This monthly support group for those navigating the early weeks and months postpartum after a cesarean birth.

This space is designed for you to slow down, process, and be supported physically and emotionally. We’ll talk through recovery, answer questions, and hold space for your birth story, whatever it looks like.

Birth After Cesarean

This monthly support group is for those who are pregnant, or thinking about becoming pregnant, after a cesarean birth. You are also welcome to attend this group if you are planning a primary cesarean and want to know more about what to expect during and after a surgical birth.

This group is also for people who have recently had a repeat cesarean or a VBAC and would like to join to share your experience with us.

This space is centered around education and thoughtful processing as you consider what kind of birth feels right for you. We’ll talk through VBAC and repeat cesarean, including the risks and benefits of each, and walk through local hospital policies so you can better understand your options.

There’s room here for your questions, your concerns, and your previous birth experiences. The goal isn’t to steer you in one direction, it’s to help you feel informed, supported, and confident in whatever path you choose.

There’s no pressure here. No expectations. Just real support, honest conversation, and a place to carry your story with you.

We come from all stages of healing, emotional and physical recovery and planning. We believe that there is no right way to birth, we know that you know the right way for you. Our goal is to provide evidence -based information and emotional support through community. Each month we come together to share stories, ask questions, share information and just listen.

These support group are for birthing people who are healing from their cesarean or are planning or considering a Vaginal Birth After Cesarean or a repeat cesarean. Partners and young babies in arms are welcome to accompany you to either group if desired.

If you're further out from your cesarean and are looking for some perspective or help with processing - you are welcome to attend either group. If you are feeling unsure, please reach out to us directly at info@bbcroc.com, we're always happy to talk.

To attend this group, we kindly ask for your financial support (sliding scale) $3-5 per meeting. You can pay using the button below or with cash or credit/debit card at the studio when you arrive.

Your contributions truly help us keep our support groups going strong, thank you so much for helping us help you and other families and babies in our community. Payment is greatly appreciated but not required. No one will be turned away due to lack of funds.

If you have feedback for us about this group, we welcome you to share it with us here.

“We all open. We all tear, somewhere – body, heart, soul. We all both wildly embrace and struggle to embrace these experiences. It all takes courage and that courage is always worth celebrating.”

— Rachel Lorena Brown
